Commercial Tree Trimming Service

Southlake Tree Trimming Services
Tree trimming is more complicated than it seems.  We’ve seen laypersons hack off limbs without regard for the overall wellbeing of the tree.  Trees are living breathing things and to ensure their survival, they must be properly cared for.  Southlake Commercial Lawn Care utilizes the 3-cut method.  This technique is vital for thriving trees.  When a war veteran must have a limb removed, it is imperative that the surgery is done precisely.  If the surgeon cuts too close or too far away from the initial wound, her skin, bone and overall healing process will be delayed.  The same can be said for trees during the trimming process.

Tools & Equipment
A pruning saw and pruning shears are the perfect tools for trimming trees.  We don’t need much more than that.  Pruning shears help us gain access to tight spaces.  Most laypersons will use tools designed for lumber to trim trees.  This tactic will damage your trees beyond recognition.  A tree is not lumber until it is dead and chopped up for alternative use.  Until then, tools designed for lumber should not be used on a living tree.  Utilizing the right tools and equipment ensures that the tree’s bark is healthy.  Healthy bark keeps out insects, fungus and bacteria.

Preserving The Tree’s Health
Trees are both complicated and simple beings.  To ensure the health of your trees, our landscape artists cut the weight off first.  Inexperienced gardeners often cut the limbs too close to the trunk.  This errant methodology prevents a healthy callous from forming.  A callous is necessary for the tree to heal and grow another limb.  If the tree limb is cut too far away from the trunk, the healing process will be delayed.  You can see how expertise is necessary for tree health.  When your company enlists Southlake Commercial Lawn Care to preserve your tree’s health, you have made the right choice for your landscape.

3-Cut Method
This method is designed to preserve the bark and overall health of the tree.  There are three cuts that are made to ensure proper growth.  The first cut is made on the underside of the limb.  The second cut is made one to two feet away from the trunk on the topside of the limb.  The third and final cut is made is executed one inch away from the trunk on the topside of the limb.  When the branch falls to the ground, the bark is in tact and the tree will form a healthy callous that will keep out moisture, insects and bacteria.

Hire Southlake Commercial Lawn Care
Hiring the right professional is key in maintaining an aesthetic that is in alignment with your brand.  Potential customers and investors associate the look of your landscape with the prosperity of your business.  The wrong landscaper is not interested in the health of your greenery; they are only interested in getting paid.  The result is a lackluster lawn that doesn’t translate the intended message.  We employ experienced landscape artists who possess an artistry that gardeners simply don’t have.  Additionally, we have two arborists on staff that holds everyone accountable in maintaining the health of our green friends.  Together, arborists and landscape artists make a great team.  It would be our pleasure to maintain the trees and landscape for your company.
